AI visibility for HVAC businesses

When customers ask AI, does your business come up?

When a customer's AC quits, they may ask AI who can fix it nearby. If AI names your competitors instead of you, see which HVAC businesses appear in local answers, inspect the sources, and find the next useful fix for your website or listings.

  1. Is AI naming you?

Your business appeared in some answers. Your website was not cited in those answers.

  2. Who does it name instead?

Other local heating businesses appeared too. Your report lists the names found in the local candidate set.

  3. Which sources did it use?

The answers cited a local directory and a business listing.

  4. What should you fix first?

Make your service and city clear on your home page.

Before you scan

A few things
worth knowing.

Clear answers start with knowing what was measured.

What does the scan actually check?

We ask three AI search methods the same three questions a customer would ask, twenty-seven times in total, from the city you name, plus one local business listing request.

  • 9 fresh requests to Google AI Mode through SerpApi — three questions, three fresh requests each. Fresh means SerpApi refetched rather than serving its own cache. It does not mean Google generated each answer independently.
  • 9 requests to Perplexity Sonar with your declared location.
  • 9 requests to the OpenAI Responses API with web search and your declared location. This is an API measurement, not what any person sees in ChatGPT.
  • 1 request for the local business listing. A competitor is only ever named if it came from this one list.
Will every customer see the same answers?

No. Answers can vary by question, location, time, and search method. Your report records what came back for this scan. This is not a ranking, traffic, booking, or revenue promise.

What if a search method is unavailable?

Your report says so. A request that could not be completed does not count as an answer that left your business out.

Do I need to leave my email?

No. You can read your report without entering an email. After the results, you can choose to leave an address if you would like to hear back about the scan; it does not unlock or deliver the report.

Can I come back to my report?

Yes. Save the report link in your address bar once your scan starts. It works for seven days. The scanner does not send the report by email.
